a. New families and all families with
outstanding bills from previous years will be required to pay a minimum of
one/half of the 2008-09
tuition before the school year begins.
b. Families that have no unpaid balance from
previous years are encouraged to pay the full tuition or as much possible on or
by the first day of school. A minimum
fee of $100 per child
is required if the full amount is not/cannot be paid.
c. Exceptions to this new policy for payment
will be granted only on condition that the parents meet with Msgr. Roh or Cathy O’Grady and work
out in writing a specific contract for a monthly payment
plan. If necessary, arrangements can be
made through the school for a bank loan at current interest rates.

Tuition
assistance is available through the Sacred Heart Godparent Program for families that apply and qualify for assistance. Assistance is granted on the basis of
financial need, number of children in school and record of voluntarism and
donation of services to the school. Application forms are available in the school
office and are due no later than March 15, 2009 for the current school
year.

The average annual cost to educate
each child at Sacred Heart is just under $5,600. Sacred Heart’s low tuition means in effect
that $5,000 is being granted to each student attending Sacred Heart. The $5,000 comes from

The assessments to the five supporting
Catholic parishes,
b.
The Sacred Heart Endowment Fund,
c.
The Sacred Heart Booster Club,
d.
The Shamrock Fund.

The Shamrock Fund is formed by
voluntary donations over and above tuition from parents of students,
grandparents, alumni and friends of
School starts on August 25. We
